Privacy Policy

What we collect, why we collect it, and what we do with it.

Last updated

This policy explains, in plain language, how Rhino HVAC handles the information you share with us. We ask for as little as we can, we use it to do the work you asked for, and we do not sell it.

1. Who this policy covers

This policy explains how Rhino HVAC LLC ("Rhino HVAC," "we," "us," or "our") handles information you give us through this website, our contact form, phone calls, and text messages. It applies to this website and to the residential HVAC services we provide across Simpsonville, Mauldin, Fountain Inn, Greenville, and nearby towns in the South Carolina Upstate.

If you have a question about anything here, call (864) 990-7659 or email GoRhinoHVAC@gmail.com.

2. Information you give us

We only ask for what we need to answer you and get the work scheduled. When you fill in our contact form or call us, that is:

  • Your name
  • Your email address
  • Your phone number
  • The town or service area your home is in
  • The service you need
  • The best time of day to reach you
  • Anything else you choose to tell us about your system, your home, or the problem

3. Information collected automatically

Like most websites, our web host records standard technical information when a page is served: IP address, browser type, device type, the pages requested, and the time of the request. This is used to keep the site running and secure.

This site uses Google Tag Manager to understand how visitors use our pages. Google Tag Manager may set cookies and collect anonymized usage data, such as pages visited, time on site, and general location. This information helps us improve the site and is not used to identify you personally. You can learn more about how Google handles this data at Google's Privacy Policy.

Most browsers let you block or delete cookies through their settings. Blocking cookies will not stop the site from working, but some features may behave differently.

4. How we use your information

We use what you give us to:

  • Reply to your inquiry and answer your questions
  • Schedule, perform, and follow up on service at your home
  • Send estimates, invoices, and photographs of what we found and what we did
  • Call you about three days after a visit to confirm the system is still running right
  • Keep records of work performed, for warranty and service history
  • Meet our legal, tax, and licensing obligations

If you give us your mobile number and agree to receive text messages, we may text you about your inquiry, your appointment, and the work on your system. Your consent is to Rhino HVAC LLC only. It is not shared with any other business, and it is never a condition of buying anything from us.

Message frequency varies with the conversation. Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile plan. Ask your carrier if you are unsure.

Reply STOP to any message to opt out, and we will confirm and stop texting you. Reply HELP for help, or call (864) 990-7659. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

We keep a record of when and how consent was given and withdrawn, as required for text messaging compliance.

6. Who we share information with

We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with anyone for their own marketing.

We share it only where it is needed to do the work or run the business:

  • Service providers acting for us, such as the platform that hosts our booking form and messaging, our web host, and our email provider, each permitted to use the information only to provide that service to us
  • Wisetack, if you choose to apply for financing, so your application can be processed under their own terms and privacy policy
  • Equipment manufacturers, where registering your equipment for its warranty requires it
  • Anyone we are legally required to disclose to, such as in response to a lawful request

7. How long we keep it

Inquiries that do not become jobs are kept only as long as they are useful for following up. Records of work performed are kept for as long as needed for warranty, service history, and our legal and tax obligations, and then disposed of securely.

8. How we protect it

We take reasonable steps to protect your information from loss, misuse, and unauthorized access, and we limit access to the people who need it to do their job. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Your choices

You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, subject to records we are required to keep. You can opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP, and out of marketing email by using the unsubscribe link or telling us.

To make any of these requests, call (864) 990-7659 or email GoRhinoHVAC@gmail.com.

10. Children

This website and our services are directed to adult homeowners. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our practices or the law change. The date at the top shows when it was last updated, and the current version always lives on this page.
